Meet Meagan:
Hi Everygirls! Meagan here. I've been the marketing director at The Everygirl Media Group since 2023, and the last 2 years have been a blur. Time flies when you're having fun! I spend most of my time in meetings chatting with The Everygirl and The Everymom teams, planning all of the content you see across our social and email platforms. I won't ask you to follow us or subscribe here, but if you wanted to do me a solid I wouldn't be upset! I live in Orange County with my husband (Matt), our 1-year-old daughter (Miller), poodle mix (Honey), and cat (Clove). On any given day, I'm most likely planning my next trip to wine country while binge-watching Love Island UK. According to my Oura ring, my daytime stress load is "Very High," so I'm leaning into a slow, nostalgic summer vibe these days to counteract a busy schedule with a toddler.

How did you start working at The Everygirl?:
I was working in social media and influencer marketing for an interior design brand, and while I loved what I was doing, the constant travel was starting to wear on me (and I had just started going through fertility treatments, which is basically impossible when you're on the road for 1-2 weeks/month). I had every intention of making it work, but I unexpectedly got a message from an old coworker (Hi, Kirra!) letting me know that The Everygirl was opening up a marketing director role that she thought I'd be a great fit for. I've always been a fan of the brand and I loved the idea of working for an all-women company, so I decided to go for it. I'm so grateful that it worked out, and I'm so lucky to have an incredible team that I love working with every single day!

Next Travel Destination:
We're currently planning a trip to Cabo for this fall. We went back in 2023 right before our IVF transfer, and I'm so excited to go back, this time with my baby in tow! I'm currently manifesting a spring Europe trip for 2026, and I've got my sights set on Spain, Southern France, and Northern Italy.
Currently:
Listening To: Suzanne by Mark Ronson/RAYE
Watching: Love Island USA
Also Watching: Ginny & Georgia
Fun Hobbies or Side Quests:
With a toddler that wants to spend all of her time outside, I'm on a mission to make my backyard more of a cozy retreat. Step one has been getting a bunch of new oversized planters and plants! I'm not an experienced gardener by any means, but thanks to an app that tells me when to water them all (s/o Planta!), they're all going strong and my jasmine just started blooming this week. I'm most excited about my lime tree—We have a lemon tree and avocado trees in our backyard, and I've wanted limes since we first moved in. She's just a baby tree right now, but catch me making home-grown margaritas and guac on repeat in 2026.
Your Perfect Saturday:
My perfect Saturday starts with a cold brew in hand and a scenic family walk somewhere along the coast. For breakfast, I'm having some kind of pancakes—Either chocolate chip protein pancakes at home, or buckwheat pancakes with a berry compote from my favorite local breakfast spot. I'd shower and get ready during my daughter's first nap of the day, and then we'd head out on our midday excursion. Perusing cute shops is my love language, so we'd wander through a few independent boutiques before grabbing poke tacos and Aperol spritzes for lunch. We'd head home and spend the rest of the afternoon in the backyard soaking up the sun. For dinner, we're either going out for cucumber margaritas and Mexican food, or ordering sushi in and opening a bottle of red wine. Baby's bedtime is at 7:30, at which point I'm curling up on the couch with Love Island on my big screen and doomscrolling on my little screen. My bedtime is promptly at 9:30pm, and I'm most likely doing the exact same thing again on Sunday.
Life Hack or Tip You’re Loving:
My mom shared an app with me that changed my life and has since changed many a-friend's life, too! It's called Recipe Keeper—You can save recipes from bloggers/websites directly to the app and it instantly cuts through all of the ads and unnecessary copy. It just pulls in the ingredients and instructions for you, and you can save it all in nice little organized folders in the app. It also has a built-in feature that allows you to adjust the number of servings which I use all the time when I'm just cooking for 2.

Recent Recipe Recs:
Summer kicks off my annual peach obsession, and I made this recipe at least once a week last summer. I'm bringing it back and it will 100% be my hyper-fixation lunch for the foreseeable future.
What’s your current tech background?
I always have 2! Right now I have the cute tomato illustration on my laptop and the July collage background on my second monitor.

One Piece of Advice You Think Every Woman Should Hear:
Trust your future self. Anxiety is a tricky little thing, and it's easy to get caught up in catastrophizing. I'm trying to do a better job of living in the moment instead, and trusting my future self to handle anything that life throws at me. I've always hated the phrase "It will work itself out." No—YOU will work it out. Everything will be okay because you are capable and smart and can deal with anything that comes up!
Cheers,
Meagan
