Welcome to The Everygirl Edit! Get to know the team behind The Everygirl with a peek at the photos on our personal mood boards, the things dominating our algorithms, and the items currently sitting in our shopping carts.
Meet Steph:
Hey y’all I’m Steph, the Branded Content Editor for The Everymom but you’ll also find a few of my pieces on The Everygirl! I create all the sponsored content for our Everymom partners, which means I get to dabble in everything from site to social to email. To be totally real for a sec, I’m currently trying to crawl out of the winter blues (solidarity to my seasonal depression girlies 🥴). I’ve been motivating myself by playing Bad Bunny’s new album on repeat, pinning spring inspo, and yk, actual therapy. Thankfully, I also have an upcoming trip to PR to hyper-fixate on because sunshine and Abuela’s home cooking fixes everything, obviously. In case you’re in the same boat, here are all the things that are renewing my will to live as of late:

How did you start working at The Everygirl?:
My origin story starts with an unfortunate layoff from my previous corporate marketing job back in 2022 (4 months after having my second kid to boot). I had already been following The Everygirl & The Everymom for several years and I truly believe it was fate when I came across The Everymom’s LinkedIn post sharing an opening for their Branded Content Editor position. I applied thinking it was a total shot in the dark after weeks of rejection emails, but I’ve never been so happy to be wrong. It’s now been two and a half years of making my dream content for our amazing readers. Also, I’m living proof that you should never listen to your self-doubts cause, yeah, you really are that girl. 😌

Life Hack You’re Loving:
I just discovered the language learning app iTalki (prob late to the game with this one) and am loving the one-on-one tutoring services it offers. Spanish is my first language, but my vocabulary and grammar need more practice after growing up in the States. You can choose tutors from specific nationalities—shout out to my tutor & fellow boricua, Sheyla—which is so helpful for people who want to develop or keep a native accent. Def recommend for anyone learning or practicing a different language.
Self-Care You’re Loving:
Adult coloring books! Obsessed with cocowyo coloring books—it’s such a relaxing activity that lets me reconnect with my inner child, especially when paired with a good audiobook. @alikorkmazbabapro on TikTok has the best coloring inspo.

I wanna test my ancestral cooking skills and try out this delish sancocho recipe from @madewithsaz0n. Perfect for soup season!
Account You’re Loving:
I followed Nemesis for her wavy/curly hair tutorials, but I stayed for her stellar ✨personality✨ and style. I'm always giggling while watching her stories and chatty reels. She works full-time in social marketing so her day-to-day feels very relatable. I'm also hoping her killer workout content rubs off on me at some point (I type while laying in bed).

One Piece of Advice You Think Every Woman Should Hear:
I wish I had stopped rushing life while I was in my early twenties. I was so eager to get to the “next step” that I never fully enjoyed the present. I didn’t realize that I would miss the parts of my life that I considered “unfinished.” But there’s beauty and purpose in those messy bits, too, if you can stay still long enough to see it.
Cheers,
Steph
